To say this project was an undertaking for the homeowners is an understatement! We partnered with the Schneiders (our good friends, who also happen to own "Tried and True Coffee" and "BeSpoken Roasters"), in helping them design their dream kitchen/living space! It was so much fun working with a couple that was excited about doing something a little outside of the box (green cabinets!). They trusted our vision, and totally went for it! They did all of the work themselves, and did a really great job. We removed their original island, put in new floors, kept the existing layout and sprayed the cabinets, put in new countertops/backsplash/shelving, and bumped up the upper cabinets so they reached the ceiling. I'd say it's in incredible transformation! The before picture speaks for itself!
*All pictures were taken from an iPhone, wish we had more professional looking photos to share, but you get the dramatic difference!

We are sharing our favorite way to make a bed!
Here are some tips for making your bed:
1. Keep the base simple and white! We tend to buy white sheets, white pillow cases, and a white quilt/duvet to keep it clean. It looks boring when it's left like that, but don't worry, we add lots of style!
2. Warm things up with a textured and patterned blanket folded at the end of your bed.
3. Add personality with your pillows! We've shared some of our favorite combinations, for every style!
4. Layer on the accessories with lighting, bowls, books, and fresh flowers.
We are finally sharing the before and after pictures of the Kidd’s Guest Bathroom! Brad (Molly’s husband), remodeled the entire thing, and let’s just say… He won’t be laying tile anytime soon ;) For the guest bathroom, Brad and Molly wanted it to be durable, clean, and kid-friendly. Molly kept the design simple, and went with floor to ceiling subway tile for easy cleaning. She chose to save the existing bathroom vanity to keep costs down, and updated it by adding new hardware, a new faucet, and a fresh coat of paint.
Now for the BEFORE pictures...
The Kidd’s are slowly remodeling their entire house, and hope to be done by 2018! Their next project will be fixing up the curb appeal (painting the exterior, landscaping, patio, lighting, etc). Stay tuned for more!
