Austin Site Visit, Hard Finish Boards and Holiday Parties
The past two weeks have been a blur, and we’re smack dab in the holiday season!
Austin Site Visit
Last week, Aymee and I were in Austin together to check in on a project. We don’t typically travel together anymore, so it was fun that the stars aligned and we were able to! Every year, we spend some time reflecting on the year, and looking forward to what’s ahead. We have some exciting ideas, but we’ll leave it there ;) A few pictures from our time in Austin.
2022 hard finish innovative concepts
Every Friday, I lead a designers meeting with our incredible team of designers. I have to brag on our team for a moment, because they are SO talented! As a creative lead, watching other designers on our team evolve and develop their craft is really exciting. At our last meeting, I shared some hard finish innovative concepts for 2022, and asked them to develop design boards and 2d sketches of any room of their choice, incorporating a few of these concepts. Here’s the concepts board I shared, and a kitchen design Jane created.
I love the cabinetry color, cafe curtain, and scallop details! Our design team does an array of projects from furniture for one space, hard finish selections and 2d sketches for a few space all the way to a full remodel/new build, and the big enchilada (full service) from concept to completion. Christmas Party Outfits
Let the Christmas festivities begin! Even though we’re not fully back to “normal”, it does seem like more gatherings are happening this holiday season, which I’m definitely not mad about (neither is Aymee, we both love to be with people and host)! Last weekend was no exception… parties are in full swing. This skirt is my favorite for the holidays!

TN house on the hill reveal

This weekend I’m headed to stay a few nights in Hood River for a little getaway trip! Can you believe Christmas is next week? Crazy. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
