Project Progress, Florida Trip and Layered Jewelry

Happy Friday! Time for another update in our ‘Weekly Archive’ series…

-Last weekend we painted my kids rooms, “Romantic Smoke” Valspar for the girls bedroom and “Messenger Bag” by Sherwin Williams for Krew’s room. More photos to come! But I had to share this image of my girls room with their bedding. I love the pattern play, especially the petite floral pattern. I’m making curtains out of this fabric as well. Disregard the wrinkles :)

-Just got back from Florida yesterday! We visited my brother and his family, went to the beach, Disney, and spent lots of time outside. I also helped my brother finish up his newly renovated house with great room furniture. It was jam packed, and we had some flight struggles, but we made it happen and the kids had a blast. Now I need a vacation, ha! I love exploring other parts of the country, because every state has such unique architecture/style. Here are some highlights.

-Some project updates!

Our Utah European Modern Project is really shaping up! Floors are going in, and the exterior is starting to look pretty as the stone is installed. Can’t wait to see this come together!

Aymee’s house no longer has trees in the front, which is making a huge different already! However, the curb appeal sure needs help ;) but that’s what we’re here for! Make sure you check out the mood boards we shared for the project a few weeks ago on our Weekly Archive Series.

-Layered jewelry is my favorite thing right now. It’s easy, I can mix and match every day, and all my jewelry is pretty interchangeable. Here are so of my favorites!

-It’s going to be 110 this weekend in Oregon… WHAT! I just got this water bottle (that everyone and their mom has, but I love it)! Make sure you stay hydrated!

-Lastly, let’s hear it for an office update! I am loving how it’s all coming together, especially the pendant over the table. All the unlacquered brass details are going to patina and age well over time, which I love. I also love how the cabinets came together. This color, “folkestone” by Kokeena is the prettiest grey, and adds a cooler earth tone that the room needed with all the browns and beiges. We love Kokeena and love that they are a local brand, Be sure to check them out and they are offering 10% off exclusively to our readers with code LIGHTANDDWELL
